Petrol C8H16 Petrol or Gasoline is a combustible hydrocarbon made up of over 200 hydrocarbons and additives. The commonly used automobile grade is 87 Octane.
Diesel C12H26 Diesel is a combustible hydrocarbon based fuel used in engines that are based on compression ignition. The energy content of Diesel fuel with respect to petrol is 110%.
LPG C3H8 LPG is a hydrocarbon-based fuel that is obtained by refining crude oil. It can also be obtained by refining Natural Gas. Compared to petrol, the energy content of LPG is 74%.
NG CH4 Natural Gas is a naturally occurring mixture of combustible gases found in porous formations beneath the earth's surface. CNG is pipeline gas that is compressed to either 3000 or 3600 psi. LNG is liquefied natural gas at approximately –260 O F. Compared to petrol, the energy content of CNG is 25%.
